Description:

This Red Birch flitch is the biggest that we have ever cut. The boards average about 30 inches wide and 11 feet long. Even more impressive... this big Birch has unbelievable flame figure throughout. The figure is about as consistent and heavy as it can get. The combination of size and figure makes this log a perfect choice for one of a kind table tops. The boards do have some wind checks but in most cases they can be repaired with butterflys or epoxy.

Note: All pictures of boards that appear wet, have been wiped with denature alcohol to help show natural color. We use denature alcohol because it evaporates and does not effect the moisture content of the wood.
