Description:

Large Bubinga flitch ideal for single piece table tops. This is one of 4 sections (a3601-a3676, a3643-3676, a3681-a3707, a3732-a3757) of a veneer grade quilt log that measured 48' feet long and 56" inches wide at the widest point. The outside cuts are virtually clear and show amazing quilt and pommele figure- as good as you will ever find in this species. Some slabs can make single piece table tops. All boards have figure; the outside boards show the most quilt while the pith boards show more of a flame figure. This log did have a large pith so most center boards have checking in the middle. These pith boards can make wide 16 to 20 inch QS material. If you are looking for the best Bubinga money can buy then this is your log.
