Description:

Beautiful Cherry flitch. Very good quality, nice uniform shape with impressive width. The boards also show beautiful color with a strong consistent ropey figure. This flitch has several beautiful bookmatch pairs that could be used for high end tables. The center boards that have heavy checking still yield beautiful quarter sawn material. It is worth noting that most of the outside boards have a twist that will require additional surfacing to flatten- these boards will lose at least 1/2" inch of thickness or more if used at full length.

Note: All pictures of boards that appear wet, have been wiped with denature alcohol to help show natural color. We use denature alcohol because it evaporates and does not effect the moisture content of the wood.
