This Cherry flitch is the second half to log 8311. This Cherry log was one of the biggest we have ever cut. Some boards measure consistently 40 to 44" inches wide. Some boards are mostly clear, but the big 40" inch wide boards have workable defects like knots and surface checks. Boards A6 - A11 have center checking making these boards only good for side rippings for vertical grain material. All boards show a nice figure. Note: Board lengths are approximated.
