Description: |
This is a spectacular cherry flitch. It looked a little rough from the outside but once we began cutting we were amazed! It has a tremendous amount of curl and crotch figure in just about the whole flitch. In addition this log is huge-- its widest boards are 53 inches at the crotch and 40 inches at the base. These pieces are the perfect size for a natural edged dinning table. It does show the occasional knot with some bark and gum pockets but nothing drastic. All in all a perfect cherry log. |
