This log is huge!! -By far the largest Koa log ever cut at Hearne Hardwoods and probably the biggest koa we will see for a long time! As far as quality goes, it could be better, but we are not complaining, AT ALL, for a log of this size! The first side shows some punky spots throughout but it clears up closer to the center. The second side is very nice- still has a couple of soft spots but they are few and far between. A few boards contain areas of figure, but the real value is in the size of this log- we may never see one this large again!
