Description:

This flitch is from the biggest Monkey Pod tree in Hawaii. It was tree that was blown over in a wind storm in 2006. These boards are from the branch of this tree. They shown awesome color that resembles the Hawaiin Koa from the big island of Hawaii. The bottom log of this tree measured 12 feet across the crotch. This log should be cut sometime by the end of 2007. We will keep you posted on the rest of the tree.
