Description:

This is a flitch of Tasmanian Rose Myrtle. This species is one of Australia's most beautiful hardwoods when at its best. This particular flitch has amazing burl and flame figure. The outside boards have good burl figure with a mixture of quilt and flame figure mixed in. The outside slabs are very irregular in shape with most of the natural edge intact. The middle slabs measure up to 4 feet wide and 9 feet long. These slabs are ideal for table tops.

Note: All pictures of boards that appear wet, have been wiped with denature alcohol to help show natural color. We use denature alcohol because it evaporates and does not effect the moisture content of the wood.
