Description: |
This is a beautiful Sapele flitch! It has great wide widths and several excellent table top planks. The slabs are relatively flat and show mostly quarter sawn grain. Some boards do show a mix of quarter sawn and flat sawn grain. Defects are minimal in this log- if present they include some checking, very few knots, and infrequent worm holes. |

| This is a pith board with quarter sawn grain. This material would be great for wide rippings . There are small and large surface checks in the board as well as the pith cracks. There are also 2 small holes near the middle of the board. |
