Description:

This Claro Walnut Crotch flitch is about as good as it comes. The center boards have excellent crotch figure coming in one end and leaving the other. The outer boards show more burl figure and some curl making all the boards very nice. **Please Note: This flitch has been kiln dried- boards read 8-12% moisture in most spots, however there are moisture pockets reading 18%- this is a normal occurrence due to the nature of the species. Please contact us if you would like further information.**

Note: All pictures of boards that appear wet, have been wiped with denature alcohol to help show natural color. We use denature alcohol because it evaporates and does not effect the moisture content of the wood.
