Description:

Nice European Walnut flitch. Has good size and great darker than normal color for this species of Walnut. Some of the pieces show interesting shape and would make great table tops. The flitch does show bark pockets and knots which is pretty typical for Euro Walnut; most of these defects are stable or workable. They add to the character which in my opinion makes this flitch more attractive.

Note: All pictures of boards that appear wet, have been wiped with denature alcohol to help show natural color. We use denature alcohol because it evaporates and does not effect the moisture content of the wood.
