Description: |
This is Black Walnut flitch is about as big as it comes for the species here on the east coast of the USA. The boards measure consistently 40 to 50 inches wide across the bottom and the crotch. They have very nice color and figure and the material should be much nicer to work then the Claro Walnut from the west coast. Most of the boards have been slabed thick and are ideal for table tops but designs possibilities are endless. Most boards have over 100 bf in them. |
