Description:

This might be the nicest local log that we have ever seen. This tree was cut down with in a hour of our location in Pennsylvania. This incredible tree measured 24 feet at the first branch. The log averages over 40" inches wide and is 50 inches across the bottom and 67" inches across the crotch. We are currently seasoning the log and holding onto this log for custom cutting or the right customer. The log is highley figured and perfectly clear. We also have all the branches to this tree. Some branches measure over 36" inches wide. Altoghether this tree has about 4000 to 5000 board feet and the butt cut has 1800 board feet in it. This is definately a one of a kind Walnut log.

Note: All pictures of boards that appear wet, have been wiped with denature alcohol to help show natural color. We use denature alcohol because it evaporates and does not effect the moisture content of the wood.
