Description:

This Black Walnut flitch is fantastic! It has very rare length- measuring an unusual 18' feet. The flitch also has awesome figure and color making this ideal for anybody looking for the best of the best of Black Walnut. The boards do show some defects but due to its length nice clear pieces can be achieved.

Note: All pictures of boards that appear wet, have been wiped with denature alcohol to help show natural color. We use denature alcohol because it evaporates and does not effect the moisture content of the wood.

Nice board, has a metal cut out at about 4 1/2' feet, other then that shows some knots but most defects are stable with lots of usable material. Board has great figure and color. Very beautiful piece.
